In recent years, there has been a growing interest in generating electricity from distributed renewable energy sources like solar, wind and hydro. Due to over population there has been a lot of bio-wastages that is being dumped across the living areas around the world. Some of the major bio-wastages are domestic wastage and animal wastage. In our project, we are going to discuss about power generation from bio wastages by using Microbial Fuel Cell (MFC) by microorganisms present in the wastages where voltage and current created in range of 1V and 0.25mA. The microbial fuel cell (MFC) consist of two chambers, in that one contains waste water as electrode (anode) another contains salt water as electrode (cathode).where anode chamber oxidizes natural compound exchanging electrons to anode and protons towards cathode chamber by means of proton trade layer. From anode the electrons goes through an outer circuit to cathode chamber and joined with proton to create water within the sight of oxygen. Obviously, hydrogen was delivered in MFC by waste water treatment. The output of microbial fuel cell (MFC) is given to augment DC-DC boost converter with PI closed loop controller for DC load application. Microbial fuel cell (MFC) with augment DC-DC boost converter has been simulated and exempted prototype test bed module. The execution of the control plans are represented utilizing MATLAB/Simulink.
