So, the technique which we are going to use for encryption and decryption process is a secret-key block cipher called 64-bits Blowfish algorithm. Which is purposefully designed to increase security and to improve performance. This algorithm uses variable key size up to 448 bits. The blowfish algorithm provides safety against unauthorized attack and runs faster than the popular existing algorithms. Another important module in this project is Content Based Image Retrieval (CBIR) refers to the retrieval of images according to their content, rather than through standard key-word retrieval techniques. We are developing systematic way to evaluate security strength in the unique type of data and applications.

Cloud computing is an emerging technology in today's world. Cloud platform mainly used for storing and managing personal multimedia data. So providing security to multimedia data i.e. images while also offering efficient accessing functionalities is becomes an important factor. In our project we are implementing content-based search of image data archived online while preserving content confidentiality. Preserving content confidentiality includes encryption and decryption of the multimedia data. So, the technique which we are going to use for encryption and decryption process is a secret-key block cipher called 64-bits Blowfish algorithm.
