Nowadays the home security is essential to avoid unnecessary steal. The home security is accomplished by developing and implementing proto type device. It is functioned by Android mobile through Global System for Mobile communication (GSM) and employs an IR sensor to detect the unauthorized person entering into the home. In case an IR sensor detects a person then the keypad will be activated to enter the password and the SMS will be sent to the house owner for authentication based on the owner's replay, the gate will open. The warning message will be sent to the owner in case the person enters a password mistakenly. At the mean time buzzer will be activated. Also the Android application is used to control the electrical appliances. Keywords

This paper deals with the modeling and simulation of location of FACTs devices in 14-bus system. Fixed Capacitor Thyristor- Controlled Reactor (FC-TCR), Thyristor-Controlled Series Compensator (TCSC) and Unified Power Flow Controller (UPFC) are included in 14-bus system to improve the bus voltages and powers. The voltage sag is created by adding an extra load at the receiving end. This voltage sag is compensated by using FACTS devices like SVC using FC-TCR, TCSC and UPFC. Improvement in the voltage and power are studied using simulation results.
