Localization is one of the most important methods in Wireless sensor networks which plays a very crucial role in many applications like, e.g., energy saving. The localization method is mainly used to find the location of nodes in sensor networks. In some nodes they are deployed with GPS coordinates, which helps the other nodes to localize themselves. Localization algorithms are basically classified into two categories they are range based and range free. In this paper, we survey a range based localization algorithm and briefly discuss about the techniques.
