Plagiarism has become a serious concern for many institutions and organizations. The revolutionary development of the information technology presents numerous opportunities for violations of intellectual property rights. Responsibility for promoting good academic practice and plagiarism awareness has to be emphasized at all levels of the research work. This paper discusses the issues of plagiarism and the methods of preventing of such acts.
