Abstract

Novel schiff bases of isatin derivatives were synthesized. The structures of these compounds were established by means of IR, ¹H-NMR analysis. All the compounds were evaluated for antimicrobial activity. Most of the compounds show significant antimicrobial activity, when compared with the standard drugs.
