Abstract

The conductometric investigation of 2-chlorophenylthiocarbamidophenol (CTCP) or L₃ have been studied at different concentration at 60% ethanol-water mixture at different temperatures G,k,μ values are determined. The thermodynamic parameters ΔH, ΔG and ΔS for the ion pair formation determine from the value of ion association constant at constant temperature. This measurement revealed that solvent-solvent, solute-solvent and solute-solute interaction and the effects of various substituents.

Abstract

Recently in this laboratory a novel series of 4-amino-5-substituted thiocarbamido-N-[2-(diethylamino)ethyl]-o-anisamides was successfully synthesized by the interactions of 4-amino-5-chloro-N-[2-(diethylamino)ethyl]-o-anisamide with various thioureas in isopropanol, acetone medium. The structural determination and justification of the synthesized compounds were done on the basis of chemical characteristics, elemental analysis and spectral studies.
