Eugenol is a chief chemical constituent of clove oil and having lots of applications. Thus development of a validated UV spectrophotometric method will always advantageous. The method was validated according to International conference on Harmonization (ICH) guidelines Q2 (R1) with respect to Accuracy, Precision, linearity and range, Ruggedness, Robustness. This method is found to be linear in range between 15-50 μg/ml presenting good correlation coefficient (0.991) showing 98.87 % accuracy.
