Euro-Centric approach in understanding Indian History sans the evolution of Indian civilization, if not, Indian nation is not complete. Again the latter, is a European identity which began with the emergence of the rise of nation-states in Europe. Italian and German nationalism as well as countries which aspired for nationhood in Europe, later the process of decolonization has created this necessity of understanding newly emerged states under nation-state concept.
