Stereoselective Enzymatic Syntheses of Angiotensin Converting Enzyme Inhibitor Drugs

Angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor drug intermediates, ECPPA (S) - ethoxycarbonyl - 3 - phenylpropyl) L - alanine), ECPPL(N 2 - (1(S) ethoxycarbonyl - 3 Phenyl propyl) - N 6 trifloro acetyl L - lysine)have been synthesized by using the enzyme Lipase. Angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitor drug intermediates are synthesized stereo selectively by using Novo SP 435 supplied by Novozymes. Choral specificity for the ACE inhibitor drug intermediates is (SS). The formed desired (SS) isom er is matched by the standard sample with HPLC method.
