The aim of this study is to measure the users' awareness about the Internet and its resources particularly with their experience and e-books. Users' dependency of internet increases day by day as their requirements also raises in various aspects such as preparing lessons, assignments, research etc. Either academic or personal users are in need of modern technology to meet their requirements as present scenario offers the sophisticated opportunity along with the required infrastructure. The present study enables us to realize the modern users' experience levels as well as e-books awareness. Though many features are covered by Internet study includes the Digital Library related aspects only as this research falls under the discipline of LIS. Keeping this aspect in mind study has been focused on academic users' internet experience and various levels of awareness of e-books. The identified research questions in the present investigation are; does the user's Internet experience differ? Does the user's e-books awareness level differ? , Does the user's Internet experience influence them to gain awareness of e-books?.Keywords

When constructing websites, designers usually rely on style guides, prior experience and their own intuition to determine where to position particular web objects on a web page. This position may vary based on the type of web site and institutions. This paper aims to study the pattern and analyse the various aspects of the location of web objects and links of university web sites in Tamil Nadu. A total of 43 universities in Tamil Nadu were considered which includes, 17 affiliating universities, 5 unitary universities and 21 private universities. The analysis of the data represents the location of web objects and the pattern adopted by the universities in Tamil Nadu.Keywords

SCImago Journal and Country Rank are being published every year with h-index, citations, self-citations of journals. There are more than 34000 journals published in the world and ranked by the SCImago Journal Rank (SJR). The publications in library and information science from Asiatic and SAARC countries are listed with h-index, citations and so on. Over 54 million documents are available in the database. The top three countries are United States, China and United Kingdom. The study found that ranking varies based on different parameters.Keywords
