Abstract
Discusses about various purposes of knowledge representation including text understanding, cognitive research, expert system development and information retrieval. How classification is related to knowledge representation is discussed. Clustering analysis also produced knowledge representation. The problems of knowledge representation and how it can be solved through proper classification of knowledge are also discussed.
