RL is the manner of planning, execution and controlling the efficient and cost effective flow of materials such as raw materials, in-process inventory, finished goods & associated information from the end point of consumer to the point of origin. The final purpose is to recapture value or right disposal. The definition could also include Remanufacturing and Re furbishing processes . Todays increasingworry for greener supply chains makes it more significant to focus on RL and the various Recovery possibilities.
