Dentigerous or follicular cysts are the second most common type of odontogenic cyst. The cyst develops from the proliferation of the enamel organ remnant or reduced enamel epithelium. It is attached to the tooth cervix (cemento-enamel junction) and encloses the crown of the unerupted tooth. The most common sites of this cyst are the mandibular and maxillary third molars and maxillary cuspid areas, since these are the most common impacted teeth. We report a case of dentigerous cyst in a 12 year old female associated with left maxillary canine which was impacted in the maxillary sinus, with a retained deciduous maxillary canine. Keywords
