Personal Height Determination from Head Length

This study was carried out to estimate the relationship between head length and stature using simple linear regression analysis based on a sample of male and female of Western Maharastra.Measurements of the head length and stature were taken from 150 subjects ( 75male, 75 female). Obtained data was analysed and attempt was made to find out correlation between the head length and stature of an individual. A good correlation of height was observed with head length and it was statistically significant. The results of the present study would be useful for anthropologists and forensic medicine experts.
