Helminthes are recognized as a major problem to livestock production throughout the tropics. Parasitic helminthes affect human being and animals by causing considerable hardship and stunted growth. Most diseases caused by helminthes are of a chronic and debilitating in nature. The parasitic gastroenteritis is caused by mixed infection with several species of stomach intestinal worms, which results weaknesses, loss of appetite, decreased feed efficiency, reduced weight gain and decreased productivity. We here in explore scientifically the anthelmintic potential of medicinal plant of India and substantiate the folklore claims. In present communication aqueous and ethanolic extract of Euphorbia Panchganisis Linn. Were investigated for their anthelmintic activity against Pheretima posthuma and Ascardia galli. Various concentrations were used in the bioassay, which involved paralysis and death time of the worms. Both the extracts showed significant anthelmintic activity. Keywords

We here in explore scientifically the anthelmintic and laxative potential of traditionally used medicinal plants of India and substantiate the folklore claims. In present communication Crude aqueous extract of Euphorbia thymifolia Linn. (family: Euphorbiaceae) at doses 100 and 200 mg/kg was investigated for laxative activity according to Cappaso et al. in albino rats that were compared with standard drug agar-agar (300mg/kg, p.o.) in normal saline. The rats were fasted for 12 hours before the experiment. After 8 hours of drug administration the faeces were collected and weighed. The extract was found to produce significant laxative activity in dose dependant manner. Also the aqueous extracts of plant of Euphorbia thymifolia Linn. were investigated for their anthelmintic activity against Pheretima posthuma and Ascardia galli. Various concentrations were used in the bioassay, which involved paralysis and death time of the worms. Both the extracts showed significant anthelmintic activity.

Chalcone is an unsaturated aromatic ketone a central core for a several of important biological compounds, are communally known as chalcones. Chalcone are -unsaturated ketone, 2 aromatic rings are attached by a 3 carbon α, β-unsaturated carbonyl. This survey provides information on (synthesis processes, reactions, implementations of medical and biological activities, their uses and their source as a source of information) (whether natural or synthetic). Data on the chemistry of chalcones appeared on its preparation methods, reaction methods and medical application. This are different activities like Antiviral Activity, Anti hepatotoxic activity, Anti malarial Activity, Anti cancer Activity, Immunosuppressive Activity, Ant platelet Activity, Hypoglycemic activity, Anti inflammatory, Antibacterial Activity.
