The present study examined the relationship between parenting styles and personality. Sample comprised of 400 students (226 females +174 males) between the age group of 17 to 22 years (mean age-19.5 years) studying at various colleges of Haryana. Tools used for data collection were the (1) Parental Authority Questionnaire, (2) 16 Personality Factors Questionnaire, chosen after a comprehensive review of related literature. Subjects were contacted in groups and data was collected. The responses were scored and statistically analyzed. Pearson's correlation was calculated. Results indicated that Permissiveness dimension of Mother's parenting style is found negatively and significantly correlated with Abstractedness and Self Reliance. Authoritarian dimension is found negatively and significantly correlated with Emotional Stability, Dominance, Abstractedness and Self Reliance, but correlated positively with Rule Consciousness and Sensitivity. Authoritative dimension of Mother's parenting style is found positively and significantly correlated with Reasoning, Rule Consciousness and Perfectionism, but correlated negatively and significantly with Dominance, Liveliness, Social Boldness and Abstractedness. Permissiveness of Father's parenting style is found positively and significantly correlated with Rule Consciousness, Sensitivity and negatively and significantly correlated with Abstractedness. Authoritarian dimension of Father's parenting style is found positively and significantly correlated with Reasoning and Sensitivity, but correlated negatively and significantly with Emotional Stability and Dominance. Authoritative dimension of Father's parenting style is found positively and significantly correlated with Reasoning, Rule Consciousness and Perfectionism and negatively and significantly correlated with Dominance, Liveliness, Abstractedness and Privateness. Keywords

The present study was undertaken to evaluate the seminal plasma lipids and lipid peroxide levels in fertile and normospermic infertile, azoospermic, oligospermic and asthenospermic men. Spermatozoa and seminal plasma contain considerable amount of lipids, in particular cholesterol and phospholipids, and thus susceptible to oxidative damage. The results show a significant reduction in total lipid and phospholipid levels in normospermic infertile men. Alteration in the lipid content of seminal plasma may adversely affect the membrane structure required for the occurrence of capacitation and acrosome reaction and also lead to an altered sperm function. Moreover, the results also showed significantly elevated seminal plasma lipid peroxide levels in all infertile men, remarkably in normospermic infertile men. It Is concluded that in unexplained infertile couples, one of the reasons for failure of normal fertilisation process may be the perturbed seminal plasma lipid content brought about by free radical mediated lipid peroxidation. Keywords

The purpose of study is to analyze the awareness about the alternative investment strategy through quantitative analysis in stock market specifically in Kharghar, Navi Mumbai region. The paper studies the significance of quantitative analysis in stock market investment. A quantitative descriptive sample design was used to study the individual investors under different economic condition in Navi Mumbai. A semistructured interview and questionnaire was designed.
This research tries to focus on positive opportunities created by quantitative analysis of stock market while investing. It identifies the better opportunity in terms of risk and return. One of the most interesting findings of the study is that most of the individual investors don't have any idea about the quantitative analysis and its benefits in stock market. The other remarkable finding suggests that proper knowledge of quantitative analysis helps individual investor to invest rationally in stock market. It enhances the chances of more returns less risk and contributes some value to the economy.

In sequencing problems, there are one or more jobs to be done and one or more machines are available for this purpose. If at least one machine center includes more than one machine, the scheduling problem becomes a flexible flow-shop problem. Flexible flow shops are thus generalization of simple flow shops. In this paper, we are solving flexible flow shop sequencing problem of two machine centers, using an algorithm. The proposed algorithm will be suitable for a medium-sized number of jobs;it is an optimal algorithm, entirely using the search-and-prune technique.- A Study on Patients of Scrotal Dermatitis
