Abstract

The present study was designed to examine the changes in bradykinin in the ovary during different stages of reproductive cycle in short-nosed fruit bat, Cynopterus sphinx. The site and intensity of bradykinin immunoreactivity showed variations in relation to the ovarian cycle and pregnancy. During ovarian recrudescence the bradykinin was mainy localized in the granulosa cells of both preantral and antral follicles.

Abstract

Cloud Computing is an emerging paradigm in the advanced network arena that facilitates the users to access shared computing resources through internet-on-demand. Cloud Computing has been widely used since it brings tremendous improvements in business. Cloud users are expected to grow exponentially in the future. In order to meet the demands of future cloud users, a full-fledged survey analyzing the various issues is the need of the hour. The different classifications presently available do not present the issues at micro levels. Amongst the various issues, the ones at design and implementation levels are of utmost importance since they directly affect the performance of the applications. Hence the cloud issues at those levels are presented in this paper from the available literature. This paper also attempts to outline a few possible solutions for some of the issues.

Abstract

The Model/View/Controller design pattern divides an application environment into three components to handle the user-interactions, computations and output respectively. This separation greatly favors architectural reusability. The pattern works well in the case of single-address space and not proven to be efficient for web applications involving multiple address spaces. Web applications force the designers to decide which of the components of the pattern are to be partitioned between the server and client(s) before the design phase commences. For any rapidly growing web application, it is very difficult to incorporate future changes in policies related to partitioning. One solution to this problem is to duplicate the Model and controller components at both server and client(s). However, this may add further problems like delayed data fetch, security and scalability issues. In order to overcome this, a new architecture SPIM has been proposed that deals with the partitioning problem in an alternative way. SPIM shows tremendous improvements in performance when compared with a similar architecture.
