A simple method for assaying 5'-Nucletidase activity in biological fluids (serum, seminal plasma, spermatozoa) has been developed. This method is based on the measurement of liberated phosphate by the reaction of phosphate with molybdatein an acidic medium to produce phosphomolybdate complex, and reduce this complex to unstable molybdenum blue. Bismuth nitrate is used to stabilize phosphomolybdate complex. The results showed a good agreement with those obtained by standard method (Campbell's method) the correlation coefficient between the two methods was 0.9888 and statistical investigations of the data established very good agreement between the two set of values. Keywords
