In this paper, we propose a SOPC (System on a Programmable Chip) design based on multicore embedded system. Under our proposed scheme, in addition to conventional processor cores, we introduce dynamically reconfigurable accelerator cores to boost the performance of the system. We have built the prototype of the system using FPGAs (Field-Programmable Gate Arrays). Simulation results demonstrate significant system efficiency of the proposed system in terms of computation and power consumption. Our approach is to develop a highly flexible and scalable network design that easily accommodates the various needs. This paper presents the design of our NoC (Network on Chip) which is a part of the platform that we are developing for a reconfigurable system.Keywords

A barcode is an optimal machine-readable representation of data relating to the object to which it is attached. Encoding data using barcodes enables a significant decrease of work in comparison with the amount of work involved when data is entered manually. In this paper, a high capacity color two dimensional barcode uses the colors to increase the barcode data density. This is proposed by encoding data in individual color channels. Data encoded in cyan, magenta, and yellow channels are estimated from red, green, and blue sensor channels of a scanner, respectively. Data is encoded by modulating the orientation of elliptically shaped dots. The orientation based data encoding provides beneficial robustness against printer and scanner tone variations. By encoding data in individual color channels, the capacity of color barcode is increased. The color interferences are avoided by using error correction methodology. The security is involved through modify extraction of geometric distortion signature from a printed barcode, which can be used to identify the type of source printer. User can view the data from the color barcode by using their mobile phones.Keywords

The database research field has concentrated on the Extensible Markup Language (XML) due to its flexible hierarchical nature which can use to represent huge amounts of data also it does not have absolute and fixed schema, but having possibly irregular and incomplete structure. It is a very hard task to extract information from semi structured documents and is going to become more and more difficult as the amount of digital information available on the Internet grows. On querying the XML document directly, the problem of information overload may occur where too much data are included in the answer because the set of keyword specified for the search capture too many meanings and the problem of information deprivation where either the use of inappropriate keywords, or wrong formulation of query prevents the user from receiving the correct answer. In this work we describe an approach to mine Tree based Association Rules (TARs) from XML documents. Such rules provide information on both the structure and the content of the XML document and the rules can be stored in XML format for the purpose of querying. The mined knowledge is used to provide the quick, approximate answers to queries and information about structural regularities that can be used as data guides for document querying. Here, we propose an algorithm that extends CMTree Miner (discovers closed and maximal frequent subtrees) to mine tree based association rules from XML document.Keywords

A field experiment was conducted with different irrigation doses of distillery spent wash along with inorganic N and P fertilizer without K using maize variety COH (M)-5 as test crop and groundnut as residual crop. In order to assess the quality of groundwater due to distillery spent wash application, piezometers of 1 m depth were installed in five treatments viz., 25, 50, 75,100 kL/ha and in the control. Piezometer water samples were collected at regular intervals and analysed for various water quality parameters. The leachate study with piezometer of 1m depth indicated that the pH, EC, cations, anions, BOD, TDS, SAR and RSC of the leachate were slightly increased in distillery spent wash applied treatments, compared to control. However, in the leachate collected after fourth and fifth leachings, the levels of cations, anions, BOD, TDS, SAR and RSC were decreased.Keywords

Metal complexes have been prepared by using the schiff base ligand of 3,5-dichloro salicylaldimino-4-bromoaniline and 3,5-dichloro salicylaldimino-4-amino benzoic acid have been prepared and characterized by elemental analysis, magnetic and spectroscopic measurements (infrared, X-ray powder diffraction and scanning electron microscopy). Elemental analysis of the metal complexes was suggested that the stoichiometry is 1:2 metal-Ligand ratio. The following first row transition metals are used in our study, namely Co(II), Cu(II), Mn(II) and Zn(II). The coordination of metals was identified by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. The geometry of complexes was detected by the electronic spectroscopy. The proposed geometry for L1and L2 of Zn complexes are distorted octahedral and tetrahedral geometry, but L1and L2 of Mn complexes are octahedral geometry, L1 of Cu and L2 of Co complexes are tetrahedral geometry.

Context: Aging is common for a Human being. Especially an old aged person needs attention due to weakening in their physical capability. Fall is one of the major problems faced by elderly persons during their daily day activities. Falls are caused due to accident, loss of consciousness. Fall poses a serious impact on health issues of an elderly person. Fall detection is one of the necessary actions to be taken. So the fall detection system is needed. Thereby here the development of the system includes methodology based on sensor-video integration technology. The event of fall occurrence can be detected using the sensor as well as the camera and the acquired information is sent as messages and live video feed to the user in case of emergency through making use of Wi-Fi technology.Keywords

Breast cancer (BC) is the most frequent malignancy in women and the second most common cause of cancer worldwide. There’s a lot of evidence that lifestyle factors including food, body weight, and physical activity are linked to a higher risk of breast cancer. Several bioactive food ingredients, including both essential and non-essential nutrients, can change gene expression profiles. Consequently, nutrigenomics provides information on the effects of consumed nutrients and other food components on gene regulation and transcription factors, i.e., diet-gene interaction, to find dietetic components that are beneficial or damaging to one’s health. Biological processes such as epigenetics, transcriptomics, and proteomics influence nutritional genomics (nutrigenomics), which is the junction of health, food, and genomics. As a result, it will help to determine unique nutritional requirements based on a person’s genetic composition (personalized diet), and also the link between diet and chronic diseases such as cancer, opening up new avenues for a better understanding of the impacts of breast cancer and its management. Chemotherapy or radiotherapy patients with BC experience a variety of symptoms that influence their quality of life. According to research studies on nutritional therapy during BC treatment, nutritional counseling and supplementation with certain dietary elements may be useful in reducing drug-induced side effects and increasing therapeutic efficacy. As a result, nutritional control in BC patients may be considered a critical component of a multimodal treatment strategy. The goal of this review is to give a summary of the existing research on the association between dietary variables and BC.Keywords
