This paper is based on the role of ethics in management. A comparison of the ethical management systems of MNCs in India and Indian Companies has been made covering various ethical management practices. The normal belief that ethical management systems in MNCs are better are found to be largely untrue. With reference to ethical practices, Indian companies fare better. For the purpose of comparison, the views of the senior management were only taken while the original research also covered middle management and employees. Keywords
