A new species Acrachne borii is described from Seshachalam Biosphere Reserve of Eastern Ghats, Andhra Pradesh, India. It shares morphological similarities with Acrachne henrardiana, A. racemosa and A. sundararajii but differs in its habit, number and size of spikes, number of florets and size of glumes and lemmas.Keywords
