The present study was to find out the relationship among personality factors and life satisfaction among government college lecturers. The sample consists of 105 lecturers (55 female and 50 male) (age ranges from 26-58 years). The NEO personality inventory and Life Satisfaction Scale were administered to collect data. The data were analyzed by using Pearson correlation and stepwise regression analysis. The results showed that (i) All the five dimensions of personality i.e. Neuroticism, Extraversion, openness, Agreeableness and conscientiousness have negative significant correlation with the life satisfaction of government college lecturers. (ii) stepwise regression analysis revealed three predictors of life satisfaction i.e. Agreeableness, Openness and Neuroticism. Keywords

An important concern of social sciences particularly psychology is to focus on researches which would contribute towards enhancement of quality of life and alleviating problems, which prevents individuals from achieving their highest potential? Children who are the future, architects of our society should be given special attention. The way of self evaluation along a positive and negative dimension, play an important role in the development of self-esteem among school children. In the present paper an attempt was made to find out the factors which help in self evaluation and how young students suffer from and how can we help them. This is an area which should be taken up for serious study. The objective of present study was to compare the self esteem of children studying in advantaged and disadvantaged school conditions. The sample of the study comprised of 100 adolescent students. 50 from advantaged school drawn from the Al Barkat public School, Aligarh affiliated to CBSC New Delhi and 50 from Union School of Aligarh. Keywords

In Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor (CMOS) technology, the advancement in manufacturing of semiconductor processing has changed the designing challenges for the researchers. The challenges that are now being vital are high speed and low power computing devices. This paper presents a novel dynamic comparator with DFAL (Diode Free Adiabatic Logic) inverter that employs the principle of adiabatic logic. As compared to the conventional CMOS technique, the adiabatic logic technique shows more promising results. The proposed Dynamic Comparator, not only provides low power consumption and reduces the delay, but also improves the energy efficiency in comparison to the conventional Dynamic Comparator. The design has been simulated using Cadence Virtuoso Spectre simulator in gdpk 90nm Technology. Keywords

Overdose occurs when a drug user takes too much of the drug which a body cannot tolerate and the body reacts negatively. If proper medical care is not given, an overdose can be fatal. There is an increasing evidence of overdose related deaths nationally and internationally both. It is acknowledged that people who use/inject drugs are stigmatized. Even more marginalized and stigmatized are women who use/inject drugs. The present study attempts to understand the knowledge and responses of overdose among the women who injects drugs (heroin) in Manipur, India. Through a semi structured survey questionnaire data was collected from 50 women who inject drugs. Participants were identified through peer based and service providers who were already involved in the intervention program for injecting drug users in the area. All the 50 women interviewed had clear knowledge and information about Overdose. Even though the knowledge level is high, the women reported that they were not able to give appropriate services when overdose occurred. This calls for further efforts in empowering the women who use drugs and creating an enabling environment for greater uptake of the services. Keywords
