Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) are a technology of various uses from monitoring surrounding environment to collecting data. Because WSNs operate with limited resources of sensor nodes, its life is extended by cluster-based routing methods. Wireless sensor networks routing protocols always neglect security problem at the designing step, while plenty of solutions of this problem exist, one of which is using key management. Most of them were designed for flat wireless sensor networks, which is not fit for cluster-based wireless sensor networks (e.g. LEACH). In this paper, we investigate adding security to cluster-based routing protocols for wireless sensor networks uses improved Random Pair-wise Keys (RPK) scheme, an optimized security scheme that relys on symmetric-key methods; is lightweight and preserves the core of the original LEACH called R LEACH. WSNs quite vulnerable and their sensor nodes have very limited communication and computing capacities and a small memory space. For these reasons, it is difficult to apply the established public key encryption technology. Accordingly, a large number of sensor nodes should be tolerable to errors and failures, and it is essential to achieve effective management and reinforced security functions through autonomous network construction. The cluster-based routing protocol proposed in this study showed energy-efficient key management by establishing a common shared key through the key of key ring or through authentication by a reliable institution. Keywords

Ad Hoc network is more convenient and cheaper than the networks with infrastructure in the usage and setup. As to wire network, the router and the terminals are also existed in Ad Hoc network. Compared with the roles of nodes in wire network, the major differences are which act two different roles meanwhile in Ad Hoc network. In practice, it is not only to research in communication security but also to setup the correct route becomes a very important subject. In this paper, we propose a new secure routing protocol based on IDMAC (Identity-Based Message Access code). According to our analysis, this scheme can prevent the problems of routing forging, modifying, and identity authentication on the Ad-Hoc network. Furthermore, we look into a number of “single-copy” routing schemes that use only one copy per message, and hence significantly reduce the resource requirements of flooding-based algorithms. We use NS2 (Network Simulator) to simulate our scheme and discuss how well the efficiency is from the simulation results. Keywords

Optimization is the methodologies for improving the quality and desirability of a product or product concept. It is he process of finding function extrema to solve problems and finding an alternative with the most cost effective or highest achievable performance under the given constraints, by maximizing desired factors and minimizing undesired ones. Management is a process of integrating and utilizing suppliers, manufacturers, warehouses and retailers, so that goods are produced and delivered at the right quantities and at the right time while minimizing costs as well as satisfying customer requirements. Each manufacturer or distributor has some subset of the supply chain that it must manage and run profitably and efficiently to survive and grow. Managing the entire supply chain becomes a key factor for the successful business. In this work, the optimal solution of a supply chain networking is obtained by using the non-traditional technique such as genetic algorithm. The proposed genetic algorithm frame work offers a number of advantages like it is a multiple point search technique that examines a set of solutions and not just one solution. This article deals with the optimization of the supply chain network of an organization by reducing the total operating cost considering various constraints.

Consumers are increasingly demanding customized goods and services in order to meet their individual needs. Companies are responding to this development by offering mass customized products, as the needs of modern customers are often not met by mass produced goods. Mass customization aims to combine the provision of customized products and services on a mass scale with operational performance similar to mass production systems. This implies rapid response to customer requests while maintaining high levels of efficiency and productivity. This work will refer to companies applying the mass customization concept which gives us an indication of the relevance of mass customization. This paper represents an exploratory study, conducted to find out the relevance of mass customization by employing case studies. The objective of this study is to examine the relevance of Mass customization at this era of global competition. The methodology applied for this work is case study research. Keywords

In today’s world, renewable fuel for transportation is extremely necessary for our economic sustainability and environmental conditions. Continual usage of carbon derivatives from fossil fuel i.e. petroleum sourced fuel is a unsustainable one because of depleting sources and also leads to increase in the rate of global warming. So to make the environment a suitable place to live for our future generation, it is extremely important to replace the fossil based transport fuel with a high potential, renewable energy source like algae’s which undergoes a photosynthetic reaction using sunlight to produce oil. Such an approach can contribute to a large extent in reducing the environmental pollution and also to the future crisis of shortage in transportation fuel. In this approach we have used the common species of Chlorella, Spirulina and Cynobacteria. The study was undertaken to know the physiochemical properties, transesterification rate and the biodiesel production rate. The algal oil was found higher in Spirulina sp than in BGA sp. The indication shows that Spirulina sp is a better source for algal oil production. The experimental investigation was carried out using biodiesel ester from Spirulina sp. Based on the physical and chemical properties of the biodiesel, the blending was carried out in different proportions. The test was carried out on a single cylinder naturally aspirated direct injection diesel engine and the performance on power, brake thermal efficiency, cylinder peak pressure, HC, CO, NOx, and Smoke are studies. Finally the evaluated results is compared with standard test results of commercial diesel fuel and found to be very much in the acceptable level. There is a significant variation the smoke and particulates but the NOx emission shows minimal variation. The test also shows a moderate increase in power and thermal efficiency. Keywords
