Objective: To study the impact of rapidly growing use of Social Networking Sites (SNS) on youngsters. Method: We are going to investigate the effects of SNS on youth dynamism. A methodology, known as Descriptive method, has been followed during this process. Descriptive method is a method of investigation which refers to studying, investigating and describing what exists in the present. The study of various books and research papers, personal observation, analysis of present scenario by interviewing students and teachers from various institutes are some of the methods followed during this research. Findings: The number of users of social networking sites and applications like Facebook, WhatsApp is increasing rapidly day by day. These sites and apps are turning out to be increasingly famous and an indispensable part of our daily life. The attractive features provided by these sites have made them popular among people especially youngsters. These sites have opened doors for trading, learning and social interactions especially on social issues but there is another side of the coin. Society has also been facing problems due to overexposure of social media. Privacy of users of these sites has becomes vulnerable. Precious time of youth is being wasted as they are participating in useless discussions on these sites. Various side effects of SNS observed in youngster are physiological and psychological disorders, loss of concentration, unethical behaviour etc. Improvement: Keeping in mind the disastrous effect of social networking sites on youth, the parents, teachers and administration should take steps to ensure restricted and ethical use of these sites by youngsters. Keywords

Due to the online availability of maximum information nowadays, the current era of digital processing is more vulnerable to cyber threats. It is really difficult to confine the cyber threat in its initial stage as enormous varieties of cyber threats are developing day by day, making it hard to understand their behavior at an early phase. Cyber threats may be initiated intentionally by someone or processed unintentionally. The intentional attacks are categorized as cyber crimes and the society has to face grave consequences due to them. The consequences which may be in the form of financial, psychological or social damage create problems for one and all. Sometimes they even pose threat to national security and peace and harmony of a country. Thus, cyber crimes need to be restricted by analyzing them thoroughly and looking into their impact on different sections of the society. An attempt has been made to study the various forms of prevalent cyber crimes and their social effects. Several preventive measures and future challenges have also been explored during this study. Keywords

Numerous attempts have been made to reduce friction coefficients and wear rates of lubricants by enhancing their tribological properties. One of the methods used to change the properties is by adding nanoparicles to the lubricants. The addition of nanoparticles on commercially available lubricant extensively builds the viscosity of lubricants, accordingly being an intriguing resolution for enhancing the load carrying capacity of hydrodynamic bearing. This paper presents a state-of-the-art review on effect of nanoparticles based lubricants on static thermal behaviour of journal bearings. It provides a wide and good reference for researchers to be utilized. Finally, this communication states the further research directions for lubricant industry by utilizing nanoparticles to in cease efficiency and effectiveness. Keywords

Objective: To study the impact of synergistic application of TQM and TPM on manufacturing performance of an organization. Method: In the present work, six parameters (productivity, quality, cost, delivery, safety, morale) of manufacturing performance have been identified and attempt has been made to devise a correlation between these parameters when these two business activities are applied synergistically. This study has been done on the basis of implementation of TPM and TQM in Mahindra and Mahindra, Swaraj Division, SAS Nagar. Findings: It has been concluded that less visible improvement in manufacturing performance is achieved when TPM approach is implemented individually but substantial results become visible when it is implemented in association with TQM. In fact, TPM and TQM models extend over each other’s domain for building structure of product quality. Improvement: Order of manufacturing performance parameters should be prioritized for every company. Keywords

Nowadays, Indians are studying and following the management principles given by Western countries but they have forgotten their own legend - Chanakya, the Great. He is the only Indian Management Guru whose principles are admired both in East and West. He was a king maker who guided the son of a maid servant towards the throne of Magadha. His creations Arthashastra and Nitishastra gave us the most valuable theories on politics, administration, economy etc. In this paper, an attempt has been made to review Chanakya’s work in contrast with the modern management concepts. This paper includes the theories and principles given by Chanakya, hundred years ago which are still followed in political science, economics and management. This paper legitimizes that Chanakya had an awesome vision as he actualized the standards and guidelines in ancient times in India which we are executing today. Keywords
