While a network is performing its tasks, the packets are captured and analyzed to estimate the traffic passing along with results displayed by the machine comprising the installed tool. It is possible to filter the network traffic to focus on the specified needed information. During the process, the experimental analysis showed the buffer utilization is done whereas the buffer usage is in critical state. This implies that if the buffer is nearing to its full capacity then it loses its efficiency by not allowing the newly arriving packet contents. However the same buffer size was used for both reading and writing operations and this itself the challenge. The buffer usage was found to be exhaustive leaving no free space for the newly incoming byte. We propose a double buffering management system whereas both the reading and writing are done simultaneously using incremental movements capable of dual operations simultaneously. The pointed bit positions are sent and the pointer is incremented till the end of the first buffer. After sending the last bit then the pointer is moved to the first bit of second buffer. This process is repeated until the last bit is sent. The obtained results are displayed showing that this system is more efficient than that of the previous system and has more packets to transact.Keywords

Nelumbo nucifera Gaertn (Family: Nelumbonaceae), medicinally versatile and used as an important raw material of age-old traditional medical practices like Ayurveda and folk medicine. Bioassays for antimicrobial activities were carried out using hydroethanolic extract of both white and pink flowers of Nelumbo nucifera Gaertn plant. Both the flower extracts were tested against five important bacterial strains and two fungal strains. Further, Minimum Inhibitory Concentration (MIC) was evaluated against Escherichia coli (gram negative) and Staphylococcus aureus (gram positive) organisms. Both the flower extracts showed considerable activity against all tested bacteria and fungi strains. The white and pink flower extracts more or less showed similar antimicrobial activities. MIC for white flower extract against Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus was found to be 430μg and 450μg respectively and pink flower showed 480μg and 490μg respectively. The antibacterial and antifungal activities of both flower extracts were comparable to those of selected chemical antibiotics suggesting their potential as alternatives to orthodox antibiotics in the treatment of infectious caused by these microorganisms.Keywords

Word of mouth implies personal or face-to-face communication where the consumers exchange their own experiences or information which they gathered from other sources about a product or service. The objective of the study is to analyse the customer involvement in word of mouth communication regarding the key aspects of home appliances. Primary data were collected from 117 respondents using well designed interview schedule. Nonprobability sampling method namely convenience sampling technique was adopted in the study. The data were analysed using Descriptive statistics, Garrett ranking and Paired sample t test and the secondary data supporting the study were gathered from various books, journals, articles and websites. The results of the study depicts that information provided by the family members are the effective source influencing the purchase decision of home appliances. Involvement of customers towards word of mouth communication was higher for the product price and there exists a statistically significant mean difference between the information sharing and receiving behaviour of the respondents.Keywords
