Management's new challenge is to create a work environment that attracts keeps and motivates its workforce. Businesses must step outside their traditional roles and comfort zones to look at new ways of working. They have to create a work environment where people enjoy what they do, feel like they have a purpose, have pride in what they do and can reach their potential as today's workplace is different, diverse and constantly changing.
The purpose of this study is to find out the impact of the HRD culture on Managerial Effectiveness and also to assess the employee's capabilities in adopting the changing market forces and dynamic environment. For this purpose 60 respondents of banking sector including private and nationalized banks were contacted and studied through step wise regression analysis.
The findings of the study show that HRD culture is very vital in terms of increasing managerial effectiveness. Competent managers motivate the employees and increase their performance substantially.

Acquired Amegakaryocytic Thrombocytopenic Purpura (AATP) is a rare cause of thrombocytopenia presenting over a wide age group with symptoms of bleeding and bone marrow showing isolated absence of megakaryocytes in an otherwise normal marrow. Here, we report a case of AATP in a three year old female child who was then treated with anti thymocyte globulin successfully. We report this case because of it's under diagnosis or misdiagnosis as immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) in most of the cases. We also review the literature regarding the pathogenesis and treatment of this undiagnosed entity. Keywords

Wireless Sensor Network is special type of Ad-hoc network formed with autonomous motes with power and memory constraint. WSN is used in various applications such as healthcare, Environmental monitoring, habitat monitoring military, ecology, home and many more practicable solution for challenging applications of different areas. When wireless sensor networks are deployed in an open, hostile or specific defense environment the security becomes extremely important, since WSN motes are resource constraint there is scope for different types of malicious attacks on them. This paper analyses the security solutions and the security mechanisms that will overcome security issues and attacks and recommends adequate solution for the WSN threats. Keywords

The present numerical study was performed by solving conservation equations of mass, momentum and energy along with two equation based k-ε model for a louvered horizontal cylindrical pipe by finite volume method. It was found that pipe air suction increased with increase in opening area and number of nozzles for both pipe configurations. Increasing the pipe diameter made air suction more effective in pipe configuration B (open entrance of the pipe). Keywords

Pumpkin crop can be improved by exploitation of heterosis. This study was carried out during three different seasons, Kharif, 2015 (E1), Rabi 2015-16 (E2) and summer-season, 2016 (E3) in Eastern Uttar Pradesh, India. The objective was to find out the magnitude of heterobeltiosis, economic heterosis and suitable cross-combination for higher quality fruit yield in pumpkin. Fifteen F1 hybrids were developed through diallel mating design of six parental lines excluding reciprocals. The evolution of hybrids revealed significant heterobeltiosis as well as economic heterosis for all the traits in all three seasons independently (E1, E2 and E3) and combined. Crosses P1 x P5, P4 x P6 and P1 x P2 may be exploited as commercial hybrids for profitable yield in pumpkin. Significant heterobeltiosis and economic heterosis indicates the importance of heterosis breeding for the developing high yield hybrids. Keywords

Solid-to-water proportion decides the effectiveness of paste backfill in terms of transportation characteristics during mine backfilling. This article highlights various laboratory tests conducted to determine the optimum solid-to-water ratio. Also, numerical simulation was carried out using computational fluid dynamics technique (ANSYS FLUENT) to understand the slump lifting process and variation in volume of the paste with time. The optimum slump and spread for lead–zinc mill tailings paste were in the range 190– 200 mm and 330–340 mm respectively. The optimum water content in the paste fill for this study was found to be 23 wt%. Results show that the solid percentage is inversely related with slump and spread. Also, an optimum slump lifting speed needs to be maintained for accurate values of slump and spread. Keywords
