Abstract

Ad-hoc network are flexible, self-configurable, easy and fast to deploy. There is a growing need to supports better than best-effort quality of services (QoS) in mobile ad-hoc networks. A lot of research has been done mainly in the area of routing and isolated Ad-hoc network. The QoS is very challenging and important in the multimedia and real time application environments. Therefore a QoS architecture for Ad-hoc network is necessary that can internetwork with infracture based QoS approach. In this research paper the performance analysis of the scheduling scheme that is mostly used in the MANET’s network is done. The comparison is based on the end-to-end delay, maximum throughputs and jitter (delay variance). It is found that DiffServ is the best scheduling technique as compare to WRR,WF and Strict priority technique.

Abstract

At present market is flooded with different types of cooking oils, viz. Soybean , Sesame , Olive, Mustard , Sunflower, Canola, Rapeseed, Peanut, Rice bran and Coconut etc. Various available brands of these oils promise good heart health to keep you fit. But before choosing oil for everyday use one has to examine the balanced amount of saturated and unsaturated fatty acids. The oils with low rancidity are preferred to escape event of oxidation. Besides, the smoking point of oils, also need to be taken into consideration to avoid consumption of trans fats. It is really difficult to choose from the pool of oils but it is true that making judicious selection is necessary to have palatable food for Indians, say sunflower, mustard, soybean etc.

Abstract

This paper presents the results of an investigation aimed to explore the career maturity among school children in relation to academic anxiety. Research was carried out on randomly selected sample120 on school children within the age range 12-15 years in Abohar Tehsil. The research used standardized tool for the study. Results revealed negative correlation between career maturity and academic anxiety among school children. Results also revealed significant difference in career maturity of boys and girls.

Abstract

'Dalit aesthetics', from an unabashedly brahaminical position, might appear an oxymoron in itself for the simple reason that ‘aesthetics’ as such is believed to be the sole preserve of the twice-born. The presumption is that dalits being low-caste are uncivilized enough to have any sense of aesthetics. The present paper not only uncovers the politics of aesthetics, it also makes an effort to analyse the shifting perspectives of dalit aesthetics. In this process, the myth that dalit ideology and aesthetics, with whatever be its type and level of maturity, is frozen in time would also stand thoroughly examined, contested and eventually overturned. The paper focuses on the role of history particularly from the time of medieval bhakti-movements onwards in the making of dalit consciousness and aesthetics. Different historical events, situations and turns have brought about significant changes in the growth of dalit aesthetics.
