Introduction: Exercises benefit patients with chronic low back pain; however, postural education also plays a crucial role in low back pain.
Objective: This study compared outcomes after Exercises&Postural education for low back pain.
Method: This was a Pre test Post test randomized controlled trial on low back pain patients. The interventions in this study were stretching, strengthening exercises and postural education, administered by experienced Physical therapists&Occupational Therapist, thrice a week for 4 weeks. The outcome measures used in this study are Visual Analog Scale and Modified Oswestry low back Disability questionnaire
Results: The post-intervention assessment showed significant differences among groups with respect to pain and functional abilities.
Conclusion: This study gave evidence that stretching exercises and strengthening exercises combined with postural education were superior to only exercises for chronic low back pain.
