Hemisected Mandibular Molar a Strategic Abutment:A Case Report

Every patient wants to maintained his dentition remain in oral cavity. Most commonly mandibular first molar is affected by dental caries and periodontal disease. These teeth are regarded as key of occlusion in prosthodontics because of wider periodontal surface areas. So, these teeth have to preserve in dentition to prevent shortened dental arches. It is better to extract the diseased part of teeth and remaining part of teeth should restored with proper treatment plan. A multidisciplinary approach was planned to fabricated the prosthesis.
