The present study focuses at studying life sills among girls of Kasturbaa Gandhi Bahka Vidyalaya KGBV of tnbal and nontnbal regions of Chhattisgarh, which is a residential school from class sixth to eighth and comparing the it with model and other school, aim of the study is to see girls of which school have highest life skills a total sample comprises of 720 girls 90 from 2 tribal KGBV ,90 girls from 2 nontribal KGBV, 90 girls from two model schools, 90 girls from 2 other schools. The results are significant in the sense that tribal pupil seem to be much prepared to challenges of life as compared to other schools including the KGBV of nontribal areas. It is also significant to note that the KGBV schools are doing well in giving education and environment to girls , which may be resulting in to development of better life skills as compared to other schools. The result forms a basis for consolidating the policy and demands for further penetration. This paper also indicates the importance of such studies at a much wider level.Keywords

The present study was designed to examine the role of emotional intelligence in career maturity of adolescent. The sample of the present study included 100 subjects (50 male & 50 female) students of X class are included. Subjects were administered Career maturity Inventory developed by Gupta (1971) and Hindi version of emotional intelligence scale by Mishra (2000). One way MANOVA was used for the data analysis. Results revealed that emotional intelligence significantly affects the career maturity of adolescent.Keywords

The present study focuses on studying social media and happiness among male and female students of professional background using social media. A sample of 40 female 40 male students from professional educational background (engineering, medical , management) were chosen on incidental cum random basis. The data obtained was put to t test, male students of professional educational background and social media users were found happier as compared to female professional students and media users.Keywords
