The study aims to understand the parental stress and coping strategies among parents of autistic children. The samples include 40 parents of autistic children, all trom Malappuram district of Kerala. Structured Questionnaires of Parental Stress and Coping were used to assess parental stress and coping respectively, which are prepared by the investigator. It was hypothesized as there is a mean score of parental stress among participants. Further hypothesized as, there is a mean score in coping. Concluded that, parents with autistic children have stress and they cope with it. Results of the study can be beneficial to child psychologists, psychiatrist and other mental health professionals.Keywords
