The present study attempted to investigate and describe the relationship among forgiveness, gratitude and resilience in Indian youth. There were three main objectives of the study-(a) To explore relationship among forgiveness, gratitude and resilience in Indian Youth (b) To investigate the impact of forgiveness and gratitude on resilience in Indian Youth and (c) To investigate the role of gender and culture on forgiveness, gratitude and resilience in Indian youth. The data was collected on a sample of 50 research scholars from interdisciplinary areas using Heartland Forgiveness scale. The Gratitude Questionnaire (GQ-6) and Brief Resilience scale. The data was analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. The analysis indicated a low but statistically significant positive correlation among forgiveness, gratitude and resilience and score of forgiveness explained 22.6 % of variance in resilience. No gender and cultural differences were found for forgiveness, gratitude and resilience. Young Adults had an optimum level of recognition about obtaining a positive outcome from another individual. They had more than average ability to live well at every stage of life. They obtained more than average scores on the components of forgiveness: forgiving self others and situation.Keywords

The objective of the present study was to examine the ways of coping amongst HIV-infected (positive) male and female. A purposive sample of 200 HIV-infected Patients (age range 18-45 years) was selected for the present study. Out of these 200 HIV-infected patients, 100 of them were Male and the remaining 100 were Female. These Patients were HIV-infected since last 3 years and were not suffering from any known pathology. These Patients were sampled from various Medical Colleges, Hospitals and Sero-surveillance Centers in Haryana State. A Control Group of 100 Male and 100 Female (age range 18-45 years) was randomly selected for comparison purposes. HIV-infected Male and & Female and Control Group Male & Female differ from each other with respect to Ways of Coping dimensions - Seeking Guidance and Support and Acceptance or Resignation.Keywords

In the present research an attempt was made to study the relationship between loneliness and quality of life among old aged people. In this study purposive sampling technique was used to collect the sample of 80 old aged people in the age group of 65 to 75 years old (40 were old age home people & 40 were living with family) from Haridwar. Data is collected by using UCLA Loneliness Scale and WHO-Quality of Life Scale. Mean and standard deviation of loneliness of people living in old age home (42.33, 8.51) and people living with their family is (34.10,6.81) and t- value is 4.78. This shows significant difference in the level of loneliness of old age people living with their family and old age home. Mean and standard deviation of quality of life of people living in old age home (58.33, 8.62) and peopleliving with their family is (92.88,13.24) and t-value is 13.83. This shows significant difference in the level of quality of life of old age people living with their family and old age home. The level of loneliness is high in the old age people living in old age home. The level of quality of life is low in the old age people living in old age home.Keywords
