The Essence of Rehabilitation in Iranian Cancer Patients:A Qualitative Content Analysis Approach

Recognition of rehabilitation needs m cancer patients has been elaborately investigated, but despite the importance of this subject the oncology literature is limited in its description. The Objective of this study is to recognition the rehabilitation issue m cancer patients. A qualitative content analysis approach was conducted on 17 patients and their family using unstructured strategy m 2011. Cancer patients' rehabilitation recognized by patients and their family involves not only physical but also psychological, social, spiritual, economical, communicational, and educational aspects. Cancer rehabilitation support must have a holistic view in health and enhance the quality of life in cancer patients mall dimensions during their illness period.
