This study was carried out to estimate the relationship between foot length and stature using simple linear regression analysis based on a sample of male and female adults of Uttarakhand Region. Measurements of foot length and stature were taken from 125 adults (62 male, 63 female) aged 17-24 years. The participants were students of the UFHT Medical College, Haldwani of Kumaun University, Nainital. Obtained data was analysed and attempt was made to find out correlation between foot length and height of an individual. A good correlation of height was observed with foot length and it was statistically highly significant. The results of the present study would be useful for Anthropologists and Forensic Medicine Experts.
