In Indonesia, a Morning Glory Spillway type was used in Ir. H. Djuanda (Jatiluhur) Reservoir with a maximum capacity 3,000 m3/s at RWL +111.6 msl. This research was conducted to examine variation of discharge coefficient, the relationship of upstream water level and discharge, and the influence of tail water to water level at the upstream and downstream of the spillway. The method used was physical model approach of Morning Glory spillway type. The model was undistorted with 1:100 length scale. This study was conducted using discharge variation to get variation of condition at upstream and downstream of the spillway. Outputs of this research are formulation of the upstream water level and discharge, non-dimensional monogram of discharge coefficient (C), non- dimensional monogram of water level at upstream and downstream of the spillway, and ideal form of spillway crest. The result of this study can be utilized to evaluate the existing capacity condition of Morning Glory Spillway in relation to its ability to accommodate flood discharge.
