This paper draws on empirical research to explore the ways to understand how cancer patients cope with their suffering throughout their life. A qualitative paradigm was used for this study with data collected using semi-structured interview protocol. The study was conducted on 15 cancer patients of Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research Centre, New Delhi, India. To explore the impact and experience of living with cancer in a way that could pressure the situated wholeness of the experience, a phenomenology methodology was used, capture the participants own perception and constructions in living out with cancer. The data collected by the form of interaction with participants. The interviews were open ended to the extent that the participants were allowed to freely talk about their experience. The interviews were then transcribed; meaning unit's word extracted & themes were derived through the method of analysis given by Strauss Corbin (1990). Four common themes emerged from the analysis of the interviews. They are broadly categorized as: First, Personal meaning of the cancer patient: how the patient sees the cancer and answers quarries in different ways to identify and creating the meaning of their illness. Second, Psycho-social reaction to their illness: many of the psycho-social effects of cancer patient understood in terms of reaction to their illness such as physical, emotional, and socially deprived experience. Third, Coping strategies used by them during the different phases of illness: how does the patients manage their suffering with variety of coping skills and Fourth, Perspective on pre-cancer lives and post-cancer lives: how the patients have changed their thoughts, beliefs such as now they plan their future with some amount of uncertainty but there was no uncertainty prior to diagnosis. Conclusion included that, for the cancer patients, different coping strategies and their attitude towards cancer appeared to be powerful key to fight with their sufferi.- A Comparative Study of Assessing the Organizational Learning of Two Educational Organizations Using Organizational Learning Diagnostics (OLD)

Organizational learning is inherent in every organization and for sustainance of an organization in this competitive world, it is necessary to adapt new learning patterns to keep pace with today's chaninging era. If organizations are to gain a compeitive advantage in a changing world they need to have the ability to adapt constanly to new circumstances and challenges.Therefore the premise of this research paper is that organizational learning is a competence that all organization should develop. The reasoning underlying this premise is that the better organizations are at learning the more likely it is they will be able to compete and sustain in this changing&challenging world. The purpose of this study is to undersand the organizational learning component of two different types of educational institute viz; Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU)&National Council of Educational Research&Teaching (NCERT). JNU as university which concerns with teaching&learning of higher education and NCERT concerns to school education , which is research organization that is devoted to research&training, publication of books for school education. For this study Organizational learning diagnostic questionnaire was used. Results reveal that JNU has highest organizational learning compare to NCERT and represent an organization holding the core characteristics of a learning organization. The analysis of the organizational learning diagnostic exhibited that to become a more effective&efficient educational organization, both the organization should raise the learning organization profile level of all the system&subsystems. In this regard the institution must initiate an organizational transformation process for learning excellence. This transformation must include developing a shared vision and an organizational learning culture, creation of a powerful strategy for building a learning organization and a structure capable of implementing that strategy, and finally developing a transformational leadership style at the decision making instances to achieve high levels of ethics, motivation, and performance.Keywords

In Himachal Pradesh, human activity is dominated by rural life as 90% of the population lives in small villages, distant and tribal areas. The tribal districts of Himachal Pradesh consists of the districts of Kinnaur and Lahaul-Spiti and some areas of Chamba districts. The tribal area is full of vast varieties of cultures, architecture and landscapes that give the diversified experiences to the visitors. Tribal Himachal is rich in culture and heritage and requires local commitment to the preservation and promotion of authentic places and traditions are clear advantage that tribal tourism offers. In tribal areas, cultural heritage tourism creates the opportunities for diversification and expansion in tourism-focused economic development. Tribal tourism in Himachal Pradesh reflects the real experience of traditional rural life. Tribal environments of Himachal Pradesh have been attracting tourists and tourism for many years, due to their ability to fulfill tourists' expectations such as: tranquility; beautiful landscapes; relaxation; sports and adventure activities; exposure to nature and to rural lifestyle and culture. This paper identifies the need and opportunities of sustainable development of tourism in tribal districts of Himachal Pradesh so that the benefits of tourism are availed by tribal people also. The paper also studies tourists' perspective on various attributes of tribal tourism and conducts factor analysis to indentify underlying attributes of tribal tourism. Finally it suggests some measures to enhance sustainable tourism development in tribal areas.Keywords

The present paper examined gender differences in physical and verbal aggression, impulsivity and consideration of future consequences (CFC). The sample was comprised of 400 students (200 boys and 200 girls) from the Chandigarh region. The Aggression Questionnaire by Buss and Perry (1992), Barrett's Impulsivity Scale (Patton et al., 1995), and Strathman et al.'s (1994) CFC Scale were used to assess physical and verbal aggression, impulsivity and CFC respectively. T-test was used to analyze the results. The findings indicate ted that physical and verbal aggression was significantly related with impulsivity and consideration of future consequences.Keywords

This examines the manufactured goods export of India during the period 1991-1992 to 2013-2014. It measures their growth, structure and concentration. Their concentration is measured with the help of Concentration Ratio (CR), Hirschman-Herfindahl Index (HHI) and Comprehensive Concentration Index (CCI). It shows that there has been a gradual shift in them from labour-intensive sectors like textile and textile products, leather and manufactures and handicrafts(excluding handmade carpets) to capital and skill intensive items like engineering goods, chemicals and related products, and gems and jewellery.References
