In present paper, an Artificial Neural Network (ANN) has been designed for rectangular patch antenna. ANN has three inputs as Dielectric constant of substrate material (εr), thickness or height of substrate material (h) and resonant frequency (Fr) of antenna which are basic requirement of an antenna to design by conventional method. The output of ANN is dimensions of antenna i.e patch width (w) and patch length (l). Results obtained by the ANN are verified by using High Frequency Structure Simulator (HFSS) software interface. Antenna is designed and tested for 2.4GHz frequency. ANN gives better results for required frequency.Keywords
