Diversity and Economic Importance of Wetland Flora of Eastern Uttar Pradesh (India)

The paper throws light on diversity, economic importance and conservation aspects of the flora of the Wetlands of Eastern Uttar Pradesh State of India. The study has revealed the occurrence of 162 speciesbelonging to 108 genera and 49 families of Angiosperms. One new record for the State, one new distributional record and one new use of a wetland species are recorded.
