An erstwhile experimental garden at Saramsa is now a Sanctuary of Tropical Orchids of Sikkim with about 200 species under cultivation. Slipper orchids like Paphiopedilum fairrieanum, the elegant Cymbidium eburneum and Dendrobium chrysotoxum are conseved here.
