Descriptions of 11 rare species - Salomonia aphylla Griff., Cotylanthera tenuis Bl., Oberonia parvula K. et P., Dendrobium terminale Par. et Reichb. f., Eria fragarans Reichb. f., E. biflora Griff., Bulbophyllum listeri K. et P., B. triste Reichb. f., Polystachya flavescens Bl., Taeniophyllum crepidiforme (K. et P.) K. et P. and Peristylus parishii Reichb. f. gathered for tf;le first time from Khasi and Jaintia Hills of Meghalaya, have been described along with geographical distribution.
