New Records of Plants from South India

The plants recorded here are not reported by earlier authors from the area. Detailed descriptions, important synonyms and salient distinguishing characters are given for each of the present new records to supplement the brief descriptions available in the existing floras and to facilitate easy identification. Comprehensive distribution data is also presented for all the plants reported in this paper.
