A Contribution to the Flora of Udaipur Forests in Champaran District, North Bihar

The paper relates to a floristic account of Udaipur forests in Champaran District, North Bihar. The vegetation can be broadly classified as follows: Deciduous forest, Evergreen forest, Vegetation in plantation and open areas and Aquatic vegetation. A floristic analysis is presented and a systematic enumeration appended. The occurrence of Arnebia hispidissima DC. in Udaipur fotests constitutes a new record for Bihar state.
