Four species of the family Pottiaceae, viz. Anoectangium aestivum, Bryoerythrophyllum inaequalifolium, Didymodon erosodenticulatus and Didymodon fallax have been newly recorded for the first time from Darjeeling district in Eastern Himalaya.
