Impatiens sashinborthakurii (Balsaminaceae) a New Species of Impatiens from Meghalaya, Northeast India

Impatiens sashinborthakurii, a new species from Meghalaya, northeast India is described and illustrated. The new species is easily distinguished from its allied taxa by its alternate leaves, axillary fascicled, bicolored, white and purple flowers and bucciniform lower sepal with curved spur.
