First Year Post-Graduate Students’ Awareness of University Library’s Resources, Facilities and Services:A Case Study

This study is indented to know first year post-graduate students’ awareness of Jayakar Library, its resources, facilities and services. The study is carried out by compiling data with the help of a questionnaire. It is found that most of the students aware about library sections, locations of their subject books, fiction collection, library’s website, etc. However, many students are unaware about the online resources, orientation programmes, etc. Broadly, the survey suggests that more efforts need to make to increase first year PG students’ awareness about library resources, facilities and services.
