Abstract
Microplankton, trilete spores and discoidal bodies are recovered from 238 samples of shales, sandstones and limestones belonging to the Semri, Kaimur and Rewa sediments of the Vindhyans exposed along the Son Valley in Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. The palyfossils are referred to 16 genera and 25 species out of which 14 species are newly proposed.
