Ecologic distribution of the four abundant species of Planktonic foraminifera Globigerina bulloides, Globigerinoides rubra, Globigerinoides triloba and Neogloboquadrina dutertrei from the bottom sediments are described. The mode of analysis of distribution pattern followed can be used effectively for determining the paleoenvironment of ancient shelf area which bordered the mainland and whose physical environmental conditions were controlled by large river systems.
