The Origin of Deogarh Amphibolites Udaipur District, Rajasthan, India

Chemical and modal analyses of ten amphibolites from Deogarh area together with mineralogical data are presented. Using petrochemical plots based on Niggli values, the trends of variation suggest that the progenitors for these amphibolites were probably extrusive basic igneous rocks.
