Regional Magnetic Investigations in the Coastal Tract East of North Cuddapah Basin

Three magnetic profiles were laid across the coast, east of North Cuddapah basin. Three subsurface ridge systems were inferred and related to the rejuvenation of the Eastern Ghats and the great east to west compressional forces during the Cuddapah orogeny. The extension of the Gondwana basins belween the ridges in the coastal tract is examined and discussed.
